PO WASTEWATER COLLECTION AWARD & DOCUMENTATION OF CERTIFICATION
AWARD & DOCUMENTATION OF CERTIFICATION
PO certificants are provided with a certificate, wallet card, and PO-identifying pin within 30 days of award of initial certification.
PO-identifying pins are water drop-shaped, reference the PO designation and C2EP, and indicate the class level of the certificant’s certification with one-to-four blue gems running along the right side of the water drop.
PO certificates and wallet cards document information including
- The name of the certificant,
- A unique certification number,
- The type and class of the certification, and
- The effective and expiration dates of the certification.
PO certifications have a two-year active lifetime. Initial certification expiration dates included on PO certificate and wallet cards are issued based on the date of processing by C2EP and are not based on the examination date. New certificates and wallet cards reflecting new expiration dates are issued within 30 days of successful recertification.
All certification documentation, including certificates, wallet cards, and pins, are the sole property of C2EP. C2EP may request the return of these items at any time.
ENFORCEMENT AND VERIFICATION OF CURRENT CERTIFICATION
C2EP reserves the right to enforce the certification standards and Professional Operator Code of Conduct. Disciplinary action for violators may include denial of application, censure, suspension of certification, and/or revocation of certification.
Employers, certifiers, and other stakeholders may verify an individual’s current PO certification status through the Verification Tool.
